Layton Outreach
Our next outreach for Layton, Utah will be the Anti-Drug and Alcohol Rally. We are looking forward to an attendance of 1,500-2,000 people. Information is as follows:
August 30, 2008 - 4:00-8:00 p.m.Layton Commons Park - Amphitheater
We expect the following participants to exhibit at the event:
- Parents Empowered
- Mother's Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
- Partnership for a Drug Free America
- Layton D.A.R.E. Team
- American Association of Suicidology
- Teen Challenge
- Christian Life Center
We will be offering free hot dogs, ice cream and drinks. Drawings will be held for bicycles, Dinner For Two Certificates, Ski Weekend Passes, etc.
Belize Mission Trip
In July, 2008, we will be taking a ten day mission trip to Belize. During the days, we will be traveling to remote areas and ministering to the needs of the local people, and conducting outreaches to children. Nightly Crusades will also be held.
Jamaica Mission Trip
Jerald Mayhan will be heading up the Jamaica Mission in August of 2008. We leave Tuesday, Autust 5th and return Thursday, August 14th. The purpose of this mission trip, found in Matthew 28:19-20 and Luke 19:10, is to save those who are lost.
Our hosts will be Pastor Tom and Brenda Lantz of Montego Bay, Jamaica. We will be participating in Nightly Crusades, outreaches to children, and daily travels to remote areas in order to minister to the needs of the local people.
